Pathfinder 10 Hour Basic Staff Training Course
AY Staff Training For Staff of the Discovery, Adventurer and Pathfinder Clubs We hold the AY 10-hour training once a year, usually in January. We find a good way to recruit new staff is to include the parents in the training. The two hours on Friday night are called Parent Orientation, and we have the club leaders provide an activity or babysitting for the children. On Sabbath afternoon we encourage the parents to attend and then give them a certificate for the 5-hour parent training course.(The combined Friday and Sabbath classes) On Sunday, we invite any parent who would like to train to become a staff member to participate.
